NCL Specialist Plus
Last year, NCL tasked Starmark with the challenge of going online with their travel agent certification program called NCL Specialist Plus. The program included a series of eight (8) lessons and earned two (2) credits for travel agents by the Cruise Line Industry Association (CLIA).

The goal for NCL Specialist Plus Program was a 50% increase in participation over the year before, when the course quizzes were distributed through industry print publications.

Entitled "Back to School", the program featured a fun Caribbean style school house home page that displayed a report card design of a "personalized progress report" for each travel agent.

Lesson quizzes were launched weekly to qualified travel agents. They included fun emails "inviting" travel agents to school, along with incentives to complete the quizzes on a timely basis.

Results: At the end of the program, participation had increased more than 80% over the previous year. Impressed by the program, the Cruise Line Industry Association approved adding additional credits for the following year's program.
