Fully documenting virtually each of the more than 500,000 bodies of water in the continental U.S., Water Works Wonders is the massive Website portal of the government's Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation (RBFF). The largest fishing and boating resource on the Internet, its mission is to use all aspects of water-based activities — boating, fishing and environmental conservation — to link people and build relationships.
With a requirement that the site be built before the launch of a national television campaign, Starmark produced this 500,000 page Website in fewer than 90 days. The site includes online administration modules that enable the client and its stakeholders to make modifications that keep this amazing site a current, living resource.
Starmark also developed an interactive touch-screen kiosk that traveled the country in a Mobile Tour exhibit promoting Water Works Wonders. The exhibit was geared towards adult lapsed boaters and anglers and was fun for kids, too.
