Orient Lines
Challenge:
Previously, Orient Lines had an annual travel agent sale that included a variety of program elements, from window displays to tee shirts to co-branded brochures. The program was expensive and time consuming, and the results were not easily tracked.

Strategy:
Starmark's unique approach integrated strategic direct marketing creative with the ChannelPro proprietary channel management tool. It handled all the components, including customizing of the co-branded materials (done by the travel partners themselves online) and creating window displays in a "self-ship" container that saved trees and won attention.

Results:
More than 1.5 million co-branded direct mail pieces were mailed to travel agent client lists by their mailing houses of choice. More than 1,000 travel agents participated, breaking records for the program. All travel agent participants were automatically logged into the database, along with their level of participation and exact orders for future reference. Orient Lines Marco Polo sailed with more cruisers worldwide.
